The main remit of the ISPID working groups is to gather evidence and produce positional statements on risk factors associated with SIDS; providing either consensus or clarity where there is disagreement. Often the output will be submitted for peer-reviewed publication and we have several papers in the public domain (provided, outside links or links of where they are on the website).

Sometimes, however, more evidence is needed before a review can be submitted for publication, meaning the little evidence that is available is difficult to access. In these instances we will produce fact sheets detailing the latest evidence (including a literature search) and put them on the ISPID website. The main authors will be listed on the fact sheet and the fact sheet reviewed by the board.
