The ISPID Distinguished Researcher Award 2010 was extended to the late Professor André Kahn from Belgium for his lifetime achievements in SIDS research. The ISPID Health Educator Award 2010 was extended to Jeanine Young from Australia for her development of an electronic safe sleeping education package for health professionals in partnership with SIDS and Kids and the Queensland Health Department. The ISPID New Investigator Award 2010 was extended to Dr. Stephanie Yiallourou from Australia for her conference presentation "Does sleeping position effect baroreflex sensitivity in infants? Implications for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome".
