The Society offers travel awards to support participation of scientists at important international meetings. These are the properties of ISPID travel awards:
- Travel awards will be granted up to a maximum of 500 EUR each for economy class air travel and airport connection fares. The amount cannot exceed actual travel expenses.
- Travel awards will be granted preferably to applicants from countries in which funding is likely to be limited, according to this OECD list
- Applicants must be below 35 years of age.
- Applicants must be presenting at least one paper or poster at the conference.
- Applicants must not have received an ISPID travel award before.
- Any applicant or appointed award winner must be a personal member of ISPID or at least have applied for membership before he or she is entitled to receive the award.
